Background & Early Experience
Bret Dowell grew up on a farm in Lancaster, KY, where he gained nearly 10 years of greenhouse experience at Shell Farms and Greenhouses. From childhood to adulthood, he worked hands-on in:
Large nursery distribution
Irrigation systems
Plant development
In addition to greenhouse work, Bret was responsible for raising cattle and growing tobacco, further deepening his agricultural expertise.
Professional Experience
Before joining Kentucky Fresh Harvest, Bret spent several years in greenhouse leadership at a major hemp company in Winchester, KY. His time in the industry has given him extensive knowledge in crop management, irrigation, and large-scale production.
